Hi All,

I bought a new camera last week and have been out in Newcastle taking photos.

The Angel of the North is 20m tall and was built in 1994. It's situated in Gateshead which is south of the Tyne River. I drive past it every morning on my way to work. A lot of people in Newcastle feel that the Angel is a bit of an eyesore but I'm of the opinion that it is a little bit of magic amongst the depressing tower blocks.
